We’re proud to announce the launch of our completely revised website, LiHighSchool.org!
The new website was written, designed, and developed by the students and staff at the school, all of whom were supported by our mentor, Loree Gunn. Along with being the Digital Marketing Manager at Hubbardton Forge, Loree is also the mother of one of our students. We built the website on WordPress and used a premium theme developed by FameThemes.com (thanks to School Congress for the funds to purchase the theme!).
The website uses a mixture of one-page design techniques and the design of traditional, hierarchical websites. We tried to make it so that virtually everything you need to know about LiHigh School can be found on a single page, but if you’re interested in learning more about school, you can always click deeper into the site to find out the details of our programs, our team members, and our history.
We’ll build the site out in the coming weeks and months by adding to our student projects, providing regular updates on our blog, sharing new photos in the gallery, and (hopefully) adding a bunch of videos.
Thanks to Colleen Adams, Rachel Baker, Eli Burch, Kyle Callahan, Josh Charles, and Loree Gunn for their help with the site.
We hope you like the new look, and be sure to come back often to see what’s new!
